Wow, have you ever heard that song? It's all these British children singing in hypnotizing
dull and depressed voices about how education stinks. Haha. Anyways, I thought the title was appropriate considering how my 1st day of school is tomorrow! Yes, tomorrow! I had a heart attack when I heard how soon it was, too!!
Of course I thought the summer was going by niiice and slooow but noooooo. It wasn't. Because when I looked at my calendar this morning I almost fainted. Yes - TOMORROW. Jeez! Of course, I did have my sophomore orientation last Wednesday, and yes I have gotten school supplies and new clothes, but I didn't really think that school was THAT soon. *sigh* I was horribly wrong.
So summer is over now - how sad is that?! I mean, I kind of like the 1st week of school - - and the last week of school. But NOTHING in between. LOL
So yes, farewell to summer! And hello to homework! And tests! And one actually good thing- dance! :-)
So here's my class schedule, all you EHS-ers, in case you were wondering:
1. Mod World History w/ Becker
2. Fitness/conditioning (PE) w/ Kawaguchi
3. Integ Biology w/ W Monohan
4. French II w/ Williams
5. World Lit 10 w/ Engdahl
6. Advanced Algebra w/ Jones
Advisory/homeroom w/ Blasinsky
Yeah and my brother, who just graduated, had the same core (Monohan/Becker/Engdahl) as I do and he has informed me that they are the hardest core. Woot. I'm psyched. LOL

I think this heat is getting to me- my brain is melting, I swear. I'm irritable, a little depressed, and kind of stressed (who knows why- it's still summer!). And I'm fed up with people. But I hope that as soon as it cools down outside I will cool down inside. Too bad it won't cool down until like October. *sigh*
So my bro is officially at college now. He's havin' a good time. And I have my own bathroom. Woot. LOL. I think I'm actually taking it okay.
Dance is really starting to heat up now too. Placements are next week and I've been having a bunch of privates and stuff. I'm slowly getting used to being busy again.
You might have noticed that all the titles/subjects of my blogs are also song titles. Yep, I did that on purpose. Why? I don't know... I like music...?
That's all for now folks... Ive been watching the Olympics a bunch - swimming, beach volleyball, women's gymnastics, men's gymnastics.. you name it, I watch it. LOL. I'm actually pretty into it! I've never really watched the Olympics past the Opening Ceremony but I'm doing pretty good so far. LOL.
Anyhoo... I'll talk more later. Bibi for now!

I've been having a good old time burning CD's. I found a bunch of CD's I thought I'd lost. So I've been jamming to a bunch of great songs I used to listen to- like "Wonderful" by Everclear... what a "wonderful" song. :wink: Also, "Landslide" by Fleetwood Mac, and the entire Queen's Greatest hits CD.
My brother leaves for college in Indiana tomorrow. I've put together a photo album for him to keep with him back there of a bunch of old family pictures. Going through all of them made me really nostalgic. I mean, I'm excited for him. It's like he's really on his own now. His life is just beginning. But it's still kind of sad for me. Even though we're four years apart, we're really close and we understand each other. I don't think we hardly ever fought when we were growing up. He's a great big brother. I'm going to miss him. The pictures are really cute, and they've brought back some great memories... I think it's hard on me now since it's summer and I don't have a lot else on my mind yet... but when school & dance starts back up, it *hopefully* will be better, since I'll be way more distracted.
My 2nd to last drive for Driver's Ed was yesterday- freeway driving! But I survived.. and it wasn't too bad. We drove to this great little place called "Dick's" for fries and shakes- it was a beautiful, bloody-hot day, and we had the windows rolled all the way down since the instructor's stupid car doesn't have A/C. My 4th & final drive is tomorrow- you and the other passenger in the car has to pick a destination 15-20 minutes away and draw a map and then drive there. Me & my friend Amy chose our dance studio- it's easy to get to, without too much traffic or changing lanes. Heehee.
Now I'm listening to "Take a Picture" by Filter... I feel like crying... but I won't. LOL. *changes song to "I will survive" by Cake* Heehee okay tears going back inside me. LOL.

| Space Jam |

I just watched "Space Jam". What an old but awesome movie. Heehee. For some reason, I really enjoyed it, even though it was like the 10th time I'd seen it. I watched it with my brother. He leaves for college next Thursday (a week from tomorrow) which is really sad. We're really close, so it'll be hard to see him leave. We're trying to cram in a bunch of things together before he actually leaves- with only 1 week it's difficult. Summer is just flying by now- in July it went by niiiice and slooow but now that it's August (my dad's bday was today, the 4th, btw) it's just speeding by.
Good news- Driver's Ed is done- at least the classes are. I passed the test, too, barely. Now all I need to do is 2 more drives with the instructor, which are both scheduled for next week. Then I have to wait about a year before I can take my written & drive test to get my license! Then freedom! :D
Well, good night sleep tight and all that. I'm gonna go enjoy my August before it's gone!
I've scrapbooked a whole lot, too... I'm catching up to current pictures at last! :D

:o Hi.
I just got home from Lake Chelan- good times. I'm sunburnt, a little tan, hot, and a little cranky. Woot. Summertime- it rox.
So there's a little less than a month until school starts up again. Of course I can't wait for dance to start. But I think I could wait for school. Definitely. :roll:
I finished all my school shopping, etc. My bro leaves for college soon- I'm thinking that I'm gonna really really miss him. :cry: But hey, that's what AIM is for! :wink:
Well, this was short and a little pointless, but that is okay!

:D Hey there! :D
To those of you who know me, I decided to start out totally fresh, bag ModBlog and LiveJournal, and get something completely new and spiffy! So here it is! Tblog! So far it's working really great for me! I hope I actually find things to blog about in the future... in the summer things get pretty dull, so don't count on a million blogs until school and dance actually start up again.
For those of you who don't know me, 'hi', :) I'm Caitlin, and I like to dance and mess around with stuff like this on the computer, and all that good stuff.
Anyways, expect bigger and better blogs in the future- not necessarily the [i]near[/i] future, but yes, eventually I will blog again. *everyone cheers* :P
